How to get started

We do request a GP or psychologist referral before you get booked in. This means we have a clear understanding of how we can help before you come and see us and that we are the best health professionals to meet your needs. If there are significant barriers to obtaining a referral prior please contact our clinic by email.

Your GP or psychologist sends a referral. We'll be in touch within 72 hours, by email and text with what happens next, and how to book your first appointment.

Our fees reflect the level of expertise of our doctors, and the potential value that expertise provides for your recovery journey. It allows us to ensure we have the best clinicians on our team to consistently offer high quality care to you.

First psychiatric
consultation

For general mental health concerns we recommend a 90-minute first appointment. Shorter sessions suit those without a prior mental health history.

New ADHD assessment

You will see our psychiatrist for 90 minutes initially, and then come back in 1-2 weeks for another 30 minute review, at which point treatment options will be discussed in detail, and medication prescribed if appropriate.

Price of assessment includes both appointments required for consultation, review of forms, and ensuring a detailed and well written report for you to keep. Also includes a two week non-face to face check in, with medication adjustment if appropriate, without additional fees for changing the prescription.

ADHD consultation (existing report from psychologist)

For those with a prior psychologist assessment seeking a psychiatric medication consultation.

Includes a 90-minute initial appointment and 60-minute feedback review, forms review, a detailed report, and a two-week check-in with medication adjustment if required.

After three months from your last review, we'll almost always ask you to book a review instead.

Report writing

Reports beyond standard GP communication

Hourly

An hourly fee may apply for specific reports requested outside general communication to your GP after a consultation.

Insurance

We are an approved Southern Cross Easy Claims provider. This means we can make a claim on your behalf at the time of consultation and invoice the difference for easier access to our service. For other insurance providers we can provide a copy of the receipt
